Our 50-Year t-shirt, paying tribute to Sticky Bumps ambassador Gerry Lopez.

A spinoff of the original art concept by Craig Stecyk in 1986 for Powell Peralta, the "Have You Seen Him" graphic was an homage to a mythical character representing the purity and fun of skateboarding combined with the lost-kid ads printed on milk cartons in the 1980’s.

When the topic of surfing or surf culture arises, there is no single person or being that better represents the “spirit of surfing” and the Aloha that goes with it than Gerry Lopez. Gerry has been our Team Rider and part of the Wax Research family for well over 50 Years. Our brand and the surf community is very lucky to have Gerry as an ambassador to all the positivity and stoke that comes with the spirit of surfing. That stoke and positivity that surfing provides is what keeps us on the search for another 50 years to come.
